The
release date of In the Time of Gods is
official: April
17, 2012. Read the official
press release on the new CD including
the track list. It is Dar’s first album of
original material in four years and is
produced by Kevin Killen (who has worked with
such giants as U2, Elvis Costello, and Peter
Gabriel), and features special guests Shawn
Colvin and Larry Campbell, and musicians
including Charley Drayton, Gerry Leonard, and
Rob Hyman.
- Paste
Magazine has the premier of the first song
from Dar's soon-to-be-released In the Time
of Gods. It's called "I
am the one who will remember everything."
- And as you
can see to the right, a nice shiny new press
photo of Dar.
- Updates to
a variety of pages including the gallery, library, links, and others.
- Oh yeah,
and I forgot to post about this earlier but

Happy new year to everyone.
- Dar's new CD will be called In the Time of
Gods.
- A slew of tour
dates have been added for the spring,
which will likely co-incide with the release
of the above noted In the Time of the Gods.
- As well a little update on the FAQ page.
- I have a bunch of new additions to the
library but they are not up yet. Will do them
soon.
November 20, 2011
- I chatted with Dar a bit before her show in
Toronto last week and shot a bit of video in
which she offers up a teaser for her upcoming
(as yet untitled) new release expected in the
spring with a bit of a new song. Excuse all
the background noise, they were closing up the
bar, and enjoy!
- A whack of additions to the library. Dar's been
busy talking to lots of media lately. I'll
have something more on the new release and
other tidbits from our chat posted shortly.
- The tour
schedule has also been updated.
October 23, 2011

in September. Check the tour sked to
see if there is a date near you!
- You can hear the audio of Dar`s set at the
XPoNential Festival on July 23 here.
It includes a song from her forthcoming

concert dates have been announced. Find them
on the tour
schedule page. Note, nothing near
Toronto (Ann Arbor is still 5 hours away!!)
- Dar still has the call out to camps to
request a visit from her. An intrepid youth
from Camp Kadimah near Halifax, N.S., made this
great video request and posted it to

Fantastic. I hope they get a visit!
